Software people who fell for property.
We didn't set out to specialise. We began in 2001 as a web design company, building sites for all sorts of businesses. The turning point came when an estate agent came to us with a problem: they were adding every property to their website by hand. So we built software to do it automatically, and that one job quietly set the course for everything since.
From there we went deep into property. We wrote the software that uploads listings and processes live feeds to the major portals, Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket, along with the back-office systems agents rely on behind the scenes. Solving the data problems most web designers never touch is how we ended up doing this, and only this, for estate and letting agents.
The property work grew until it deserved a home of its own. What began as one corner of our web design company became Property Web Design PRO, or PWDP, with everything under one roof. Same company, same people, just pointed entirely at property.
That is more than twenty years in the agent niche, with a few more before it in general web work, bespoke software and programming. Along the way we've built well beyond a standard website: an equestrian property portal that pulls together live feeds from a range of national and regional land and country agents, booking and management systems for an events company and a major regional bus operator, online booking platforms, and sites for property developers who build and let their own homes. That range is exactly why the agent work is rock solid, we've handled the messy feeds, the integrations and the edge cases many times over.
What hasn't changed is how we work. We're a small UK team by choice. When you call, you speak to the people doing the work, decisions happen fast, and after all these years there are very few problems we haven't already solved. We'd rather be the one that answers the phone, tells you the truth, and builds something designed to quietly win instructions for years.
When you get in touch, chances are you'll be speaking to me. I've been building sites for agents since the early days, and my view hasn't changed: tell the truth, do the work properly, and treat every website as if my own name is on it. If something isn't right, tell me and I'll put it right.
