Where it started

A portal is only as good as what is on it, and a portal in a specialist market has a harder job than a general one: a buyer wants stabling, acreage, an arena and hacking, none of which a standard property feed describes.

The old site was a photograph, a title and one search bar. Everything that makes equestrian property different had to be found by opening each listing.

What we are building

Live feeds from equestrian and country agents, including Fine & Country, Fisher German and Fenn Wright, pulled into one place and kept current rather than re-keyed.

Search on the things riders search on, with the option to describe it in plain words instead of working filters. Alongside the properties sit local equestrian services, ranked by distance from a postcode, so a buyer can see what is near a place before they commit to the drive.

The part nobody sees

Behind the login is a full back office: managing agents and their feeds, moderating listings, and managing members, so the portal can be run day to day by the people who own it rather than by whoever built it.
